Spartan Stadium Falcon Cam

No idea of construction guy was supposed to be that close, but he’s lucky to still have his eyes.

This group has had more human interaction than last. Can we bring in a falconer to train them to shit on corn and blue colors?

I couldn't tell them apart, except for the one with the white tomahawk, the only one still in the nest.  Are you in the fisheries/wildlife club?

Keep thinking back to a camping trip to the Pinery. Campsite neighbors alerted us to a peregrine nest in a tree nearby. Woke up the next morning to sounds on the roof of the popup. Went outside and it was one of the chicks. Now thinking it was its first flight experience.

Dad just dropped off dinner in the nest. At least one still on the roof.

The sole nest resident has the right idea. Keep getting fresh food brought right to your crib. No tipping required.

that bird got restless and jumped onto the roof of the nest, then missed the landing when it tried to hop down to the metal girder. No birds in the box now, and the Ma flew the latest carcass out of the box, perhaps to an impromptu nest on the roof. Lots of drama today . . .

This seemed to happen faster this year, but I could be mistaken. The birds are def more aggressive, though.

One made it back to the nest. No idea which one this is.

One of them is back in the nest now.

Landed on the roof of the nest 4½ hours ago. Then mom/dad lured it back in the nest with kill.

While the remaining one is perched on the porch I can hear at list one of the other sibs screeching in the background.

Scratch that, it's both other sibs in stereo.

Another was running on the roof while dad was there little while ago.

Almost 9 hours in the box, it just hopped on the nest roof again.

Now laying on the roof.

Went back and forth from the roof to the box a few times. Missed landing on the rail last time.

Empty this morning, no birds in sight.

So, was at a wedding in the children's garden at msu, don't know if it was one of your babies, but a dude dove directly into a shrub and came out with a robin shaped bird maybe 20 ft away. Was like holy fuck when it happened. Took a pic after when I saw it circling. Will try to post.
