If the Rock were to win two games with the Buffs this year, they’d be better than last year.

If Colorado wins two games this year they have twice as many as last year.

I mean, MSU is looking like a 2 win team this season. No doubt in my mind The Rock could get us to at least 3 wins next season.

I wonder if 3-9 Illinois hung a banner for beating a CFP team in 2016?

Hard to say, but a 2 win 2020 MSU team used their win against Michigan as 50% of the reason Mel Tugger got a massive contract extension. Basement programs do weird stuff.

Honestly, just a bit of message board strategy. Long term bro. Throw out the occasional doubt in the showman/coach. That way, when these things go the way they often do, you have an out when Kingston is bumping this in 2025. Going all in on this seems like a big mistake for a savvy message boarder like yourself.

Oh. I didn't know we were predicting the future. I thought it was a thread whether he was a Home Run hire right now.
Sorry for using factors like Revenue, Exposure, and Actual Wins on the field to evaluate. I'll try to do better next time.

OK, bro. Enjoy predicting future internet message board glory for other posters.
Is your position that he's not a Home Run Hire right now, because of something that might happen in 2025?

I think that the term home run hire is nonsense. Like literally nonsense. It means nothing. Talk radio drivel to fill air time at best. So I can’t really answer your question because it’s a very stupid one.

Solid drivel answer. Well done.
Good Hire? Bad Hire?
Can't answer because you're afraid of a future bump from an anonymous person on a message board?

Re: Coach Prime Was A Home Run Hire
I think that it’s very likely that this whole thing is all sizzle with no meat underneath and that within a couple of years it will all go south for Colorado.
Does that mean bad? Maybe. I don’t know what Colorado wants. If it were us, yes that would be bad. We want and expect sustained success. Is Colorado, with their historic lack of anything at all since like 1994, cool with winning that one game to start the season and selling some tickets and getting some eyeballs for a couple weeks? Maybe they are. Personally I wouldn’t be. But it’s a sliding scale for each school and I can’t profess to care enough to really find out much about what kinds of things Colorado fans might want

A loss to Oregon doesn't make Deion a bad hire.

The future is bright for Colorado, and as long as Deion doesn’t jerk off on a phone call to someone I think they’ll be alright. Coach Prime needs to just ‘keep on chopping’ as they say.

Re: Coach Prime Was A Home Run Hire
I’ll defer to solid “take a stand” analysis on the hire like,
“At least for now he’s a home run hire”
“Not a believer just yet”
“I’m flipping”
“All things being equal”
“Will it last, unlikely”
“I think he’ll stay”
“Wait until Deion leaves”
All from the same guy…..

Huh SI reported the ND vs OSU game was probably the most watched game of the week. They should have held off until the Oregon vs Colorado ratings were in. #1 again. That is very impressive.

Congrats to OSU v Notre Dame on being the most watched college game this past weekend.
Unlike the other networks, NBC’s streaming viewership is not included in its Nielsen estimates and is measured separately by Adobe Analytics. Including the Adobe Analytics streaming audience of 605,000, Ohio State-Notre Dame had the larger audience.

Have you considered using terminology that's more sport-specific? Like Juwan Howard was a slam dunk hire. Or Deion was a 54-yard wide receiver pass back to a sprinting quarterback down the left sideline who gets tripped up just short of the goal line but after review they call it a touchdown hire. Or whatever.

Fair. But he was probably going to be undefeated this year until you posted about him being a HRH.
