Maybe Good morning America will stop covering him.Robert J Sakimano wrote:Prime down 35-0 at the half.
I hope DJ McWizard Gizzle and MC Gun Handle arent too disappointed in their new favorite team.
There's always the 2nd half.

It was fun while it lasted…actually it’s just beginning. Time to encourage more people to transfer, pool together more NIL and load up the truck.

Didn’t watch much. But I saw the fake punt. That move was a division one coach telling a newbie “talk is one thing, prepping a team is another”.

Love him or hate him once he gets rid of the remaining dead weight, loads up the truck with top flight talent and develops the top flight talent it’s going to be game over.

I don't love or hate him and, as I've said earlier, he seems like a decent enough guy. I just don't buy into the media hype for the sake of clicks and dollars.steveschneider wrote:“One thing I can say honestly and candidly: you better get me right now,” Sanders said. “This is the worst we’re gonna be. Our soon to be fired Home Run Hire went to Ann Arbor as a three TD unranked dog in his second game and didn’t get beat by 250 points, as a ranked team, like Colorados Home Run Hire did. They won. I think UM’s Home Run Hire basketball coach was on the sidelines.

Colorado won 1 game last year.
A loss to Oregon doesn't make Deion a bad hire.

If Colorado wins two games this year, they’re better than last year.

Correct Nigel, they’ve won two games this year. Like I said….. If they win two games this year, they’re better than last year. I think you’re smart enough to see where we’re going here in a thread about a home run hire. There was no chance he was going to win only one game.

Re: Coach Prime Was A Home Run Hire
Colorado is cashing in huge on the Deion Sanders effect
According to the Daily Camera in Boulder, Colo., university spokesperson Steve Hurlbert said the school tried to determine the equivalent ad value of the earned media coverage of the football program since the start of the season.
The number Colorado came up with? Almost $91 million.
That’s on top of the record-breaking ticket and merchandise sales at Colorado, with the school reporting an 892% increase in team store revenue this year and a 2,544% surge year-over-year for the month of September.
According to the Hurlbert, Colorado has sold out every home game this season for the first time in school history.
And it’s not just the university which is benefiting from the football program’s winning ways.
Restaurants, hotels and retail businesses are getting a boost from the Buffaloes.
The home opener on Sept. 9 vs. Nebraska (a 36-14 Colorado win) delivered the Boulder area $17 million in direct and indirect impact on the community, according to Hurlbert.
That’s up 70% from Colorado’s game on the same weekend in 2022.

Re: Coach Prime Was A Home Run Hire
pretty weird that the same weekend that Deion's team gets absolutely throttled that the corporate media now have the Taylor Swift/NFL narrative to promote.
I ain't sayin' it's intentional, 'cause they had no idea that Colorado would play like the School for the Blind on Saturday. But they did seem to make sure that their promotions were in place for the people who buy into that sort of thing.

I don’t know, man, Drake is Canadian. They’ve got strange ideas about how to play football up there. Plus, there’s the whole currency exchange issue when it comes to negotiating his contract. Do we pay a lump sum for all the 4th downs, or individually for every every down beyond three he coaches? It just seems like the ingredients for a huge mess.

Ok, hear me out...Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
College football player. Canadian Football League player. Sports entertainment icon. One of the strongest brands in all of entertainment. PLUS, DTRJ's stake in the XFL would create a direct pipeline from our program to a pro league that very much exists.

And before you go all oh they beat TCU, man that’s like calling 2016 MSU a CFP team. Come on now. It is possible to say that you like Deion sanders at Colorado without going overboard on the superlatives
Personally I think this is a talking head generated thing to discuss on the 24 hours they have to fill every day on their multiple stations and that it’ll die down very quickly now that actual games of consequence are being played but hey whatever floats your boat who cares

I was, but the more I think about it, it could be like the basketball team down the road. Keep a competent staff around (assistant head with decades of experience) have a stupid flashy "head" coach who couldn't coach his way out of a wet paper bag and put him strictly on crootin and hype duty.Travis of the Cosmos wrote:
