Lots for Smith to change within the program. Remind yourself it’s still the third game of his first year. There’s a big learning curve with new playbooks. I’m not talking about late hits/targeting because those are bonehead plays no matter what. Now, if they’re still getting that many flags at the end of the season and into years 2 and 3, I’ll be way more concerned.

After missing the Prairie View A&M game, Jaron Glover is questionable for Boston College in Week 4 but there's hope that he returns. Our defense is imposition to make plays. We just aren’t strong enough yet or deep enough.. Offense can be fixed. But when you have freshman blocking grown ass men, it breaks down fast. Give Aiden Chiles A bit more time to make decisions and I think will be just fine

I’m predicting playoffs next year

I'm 100% still allowed in with this staff. Two games against Top 6 teams doesn't change that. In fact, they strengthen/reaffirm it. The last two years, we were getting knocked out in the first round in games like that. Now we kind hung in for 4-5 rounds, and landed a couple of strong blows of our own. Big improvement over 22 and 23.

We did get physically manhandled in the trenches yesterday, and I'm worried that we are wearing down physically. But I also feel that the schemes and plans that we had were sound and putting players in good positions.

I'm looking at this season as a long pre-season, with the eye really toward the future. But in this day and age, that future might depend on if Chiles, Marsh, and others stick around.

It is either the right guard or tackle where the third string player at that position is starting due to injuries.
