Pure speculation but I doubt AJ comes back. Maybe Akins too. And Izzo has to hit the portal for a big. No way he can ride with Cooper and Kohler next year.

If Akins leaves, we'll need another scoring option (from the portal). Not sure we can count on FR to come in and produce.

No idea how good the incoming guys are. But, not expecting 15/game.

Yes. Not sure why he would leave. He should be the #1 scoring option. But, who knows these days.

I don't know that Izzo has ever had a 5 that scored 15ppg . As for first year players, Miles Bridges averaged 16.9

Nick Ward averaged 14/game as a FR. Same class as Miles.

Harris average 12.9 his freshman year. Taylor only 7.4. But Gary played nearly 30mpg while Taylor only got 22. Both had great sophmore seasons.

I think they tried to make AJ the leader, and it didn't really work. I could be wrong.

Booker (again) said he's coming back. I like that.

Meh I don't think it is too hash, it's hard to prove but I think he destroyed the chemistry

Not sure about the leadership skills of either AJ or Tyson. Or Holloman, for that matter. Hopefully Fears is who we think he can be in that regard. Leader doesn't always have to be the PG, but I think that usually works best.

My biggest reason why I Was concerned for his loss of playing time this year. It’s going to take him until mid to late January to get used to Big Ten play, instead of just having all that under his belt this year. We needed him out there for two reasons : to help with our point guards, and get used to the Big Ten play so the game slows down for him a little bit

I know you can’t “teach” leadership. But for the life of me I can’t figure out why Cleaves doesn’t have some sort of role on Izzos staff. I think he has some sort of diploma requirement and Cleaves has had a couple off court situations. But damn, hasn’t the landscape changed somewhat in college sports? We don’t live in era where you get kicked off the team for moving a parked car while your license is suspended, anymore.
