Seems reasonable. Unless you support vagrancy.
Sure, arrest them, throw them in jail and they can sleep, and eat, at the public's expense.

I fully support kindness, empathy and caring for the less fortunate in ways those with privilege should. To whom more is given, more is expected.
probably explains why I'd never make it at church or within the christian religion.

You know about as much about churches as you do cars. Yes, some churches could be considered right wing politically but many churches are left wing politically. In most churches politics isn't a priority.
The guys (church guys) I play basketball with in the winter volunteer at the Ruth Ellis Center in Detroit as just one example.

My wife’s ex husbands church all wore camo at one service in support of those duck dynasty guys.
They’ll smile right in your face and tell you all about the good things in life that we all should do.

The SCOTUS is doing just what the corporations that paid US Senators to confirm them and now pay for trips including private aircraft, speaking gigs (and at least one motor home) expected them to do.

Tell you what. You tell us right here right now you aren’t RQA. Then I’ll start believing any story you tell us. I’ll apologize and move on. If you ignore this, you’re just like those other right wing hypocritical church goers that have no problem lying, and can somehow believe their own lies.

We used to do that. Somewhere along the way society decided it was better to let them sleep in the streets and closed the institutions that provided that kind of care.

Reagan and the Republican legislature in our state under Engler.
So “Zurn” I’m calling you out as a liar. Like Trump. Exactly like Trump. But somehow you don’t think constantly lying is a big deal. More than that, you probably call yourself a Christian. The world all of you are leading us to is crazy. But ftr I don’t believe anything you say.

This one is huge as it will require a whole bunch of already adjudicated cases to be reviewed & it undercuts the case against Trump in the DC court.
Actually, this has little effect on Trump, Jack smith crafted his case for this eventuality. But yes a handful of cases will need to be reviewed. Apparently you need to catch someone on video announcing they are trying to obstruct and ripping up the actual documents to get them on that.

It is also a power grab by the court, as now a bunch of cases will be tried in court instead of following the science.
definitely a power grab. They are making it so the congress, yes this congress that can no longer agree on any details, need to effectively list out in detail every intention, everthing, every possible interpretation in their laws to make them effective. If they don't, it's up to the courts to decide. That is a giant power grab seeing as how our legislation is written for utilizing common sense and also often vaguely to be able to change with the times. Apparently common sense doesn't matter, vague laws won't matter, everything needs to be detailed. What a shit show.

For the record DWags, I didn't blame specific people or presidents or liberals or conservatives for the homeless situation. I simply said that we used to provide care and housing for those now living on the streets. I said that somewhere along the way society decided it was better to close those institutions that provided that care and housing. If you want to blame Engler go ahead although I think the societal shift in the treatment of the mentally ill and addicted began long before Engler's time as governor.
Lying is a big deal. If I have posted something that you think is a lie, please point it out and I will be happy to explain or clarify. But opposing points of view are not "lies". Different interpretations of data are not lies.
Your anger at the Christian church seems largely grounded in ignorance. Of course there are bad church people and bad churches. Just like there are bad university people and bad universities. Although I haven't attended church regularly in many years my memories of growing up going to church are largely warm and positive and the people I know that are church members are mostly great people that are doing good things. I always look to the example of my basketball buddies and the things they do via their church such as going down to the Ruth Ellis Center.
mmm...that being said, maybe I will go to church this morning, but, I'm working on my golf game and have a tee time at 10 so maybe next week!

I agree. Lying about who you are is extremely weird. I mean who so obsess with a board that after being banned they create another user name. Like, you don’t have anything better to do?

The Supreme Court has literally green lit election interference and nullification. . And Jill Biden better damn well use that power.

So in summery……. even if Jill wins, Georgia case gonna get thrown out for prosecutorial misconduct, huge portion of the DC case will now fall under “official acts” clause, and the stolen documents case, lol yeah, we know how that one plays out.

From the decision
“Courts may longer inquire about the Presidents motives”
This has to backfire, right? If this doesn’t motivate people to vote, nothing will.
