I flipped over to watch the end of that game, and saw an Iowa player run up to shake Rhule's hand (and Rhule's reaction said it wasn't a friendly handshake).  It was an Iowa captain (who was obviously out for the pregame handshake).  Sometimes...you get what you deserve.

And it's possible the players decided to do it on their own, but did they really think that would give their (own) team extra motivation?    

Glad Iowa won...just because we beat Iowa (and the karma aspect).

That was a Captain linebacker. I saw him interviewed afterwards. He claimed that not only did rule to that, but he walked through their warm-ups on purpose.

I think Indiana is better off not playing in the game. That way they automatically get in.. if Penn State plays in it and loses I think Penn State is still in along with Oregon. Have no idea about OSU.

Who does it impact? Recruits? They love that shit and UofM will turn it into a positive. Fans? They’ll sell more tickets and merchandise.

Just like Miami was able to turn that into a positive as far as attracting talent in the late 80’s early 90’s.

It was crazy to me. It was the first thing I noticed. How distracted have you been throughout the game that the first thing you do (with time left on the clock) is to leave the sideline and start taunting fans.
