Invoking DEI is pretty much always a bad idea. Equating it with the N word is ridiculous and no one should take that seriously.

Trump and his MAGA sycophants (some of whom who post here) are going to use every slur they can come up with to minimize Kamala Harris.

DEI is what Reagan’s “Welfare Queen” was in 1976.  A pejorative used to minimize minority women by GOP politicians.  

That’s the way the "conservatives" have campaigned for over 4 decades.

It's basically a who you've heard of poll result.  Californians probably have the most votes in that poll and thus the californian wins at 30%

Whitmer isn't in consideration. Beshear or Kelly are going to be the nominees. Probably Kelly. Assuming Kelly sounds pretty good on a stage (i don't actually know), he is the best pick on paper due to his background, he will easily be able to counter alot of the the GOP bullshit

Mark Kelly is getting support from Cindy and Meghan McCain who said if VP Harris choose him the Democrats will win AZ in November.

McCains endorsement is a big deal.  They endorsed Kelly in the 2020 special election against Trump endorsed Martha McSally and Kelly won by 2.35% of 3.5M votes cast

Cindy McCain’s net worth is around $400M.  Most of it coming from her inheriting her father’s beer distributorship.

I think Kelly fits perfectly into that slot where you know a little about him but not a lot. Basically America will learn more and decide, “Yeah I like that guy.”  Kinda everything Trump isn’t. Accomplished, common sense type guy, compasionate, earned his stripes.

Someone like Buttigieg is already know. Good dude but the media will focus and run out a narrative of “here’s why you shouldn’t like Pete”

It’s sprint right now and the Kelly interest will peak at the right time.

Beshear, maybe. Seems a little too unknown and comes across as potentially being an unleashed dog only. Sure he’ll go after Vance but the focus needs to be on Trump. Granted KY is going Red in the general anyway so I guess you could just turn him loose. Nothing lost. 

Shapiro is pretty popular. I could see him as the pick.

People don't really vote for the VP, though, and a VP has rarely helped anyone carry a state, at least in the last 40-50 years. Johnson helping Kennedy carry Texas is a famous case that is often told, but since then? We shouldn't count a state that would be a given anyway like Indiana with Pence and California with Kamala.

Not many have been from swing states in quite a while. Paul Ryan, but he and Mitt lost Wisconsin anyway.
