Who do I think or who do I want?
Field, either way. For various reasons. I wouldn't want to lose Big Gretch as governor just to be VP, for instance.
I feel like many/most of the hot names up to this point will be hesitant to be her running mate because they'll want to replace her in 2028 if she loses. And I don't think I disagree with that logic, frankly. Just pick someone young-ish and unknown-ish and keep the powder dry on the top alternatives.

Re: VP poll
I'm saying Kelly. It should be Taylor Swift though. She's 34, but will be 35 in December, which makes her eligible. Then she can resign after they win in a record landslide and go back to making music.
Kidding though. As a bit of a space need, I really like Kelly. But to be honest, he barely has any more experience than Vance. Of course, Kelly won't be second to a 78-82 year old that is a bloated piece of garbage.
I don't think an all female ticket would work. Not sure you really gain much with that.
Cuban could counter the delusional people that think Trump is a great businessman (not just Trumpies, a lot of neutrals that don't follow politics closely think this

Sorry Penn but Harris will need the PA votes and he hasn't been delivering in this cycle, so he draws the short straw for me on the hopes that enough PA residents will vote for him.

The MSM has been telling us for weeks that Biden is losing in PA, that's called Shapiro not delivering.
Re: VP poll
Has it occurred to anyone on this board that all the other potential Democratic candidates for 2028 are going to be less than enthusiastic for Harris 2024, given that if she wins, she cuts their hopes off at the knees?
Re: VP poll
It’s not Shapiro’s job to carry Joe across the finish line. He’s working hard for Pennsylvania and doing great.Trapper Gus wrote:PennSpartan wrote:

As the leader of the Democratic Party in the state it is his job.
He should have the political machine needed to GOTV in PA for the Democratic candidate.
Was he just another Penn Democratic who was knifing Joe in the back?

Yeah, sure. And that’s the shame that this didn’t happen a year ago.Trapper Gus wrote:Has it occurred to anyone on this board that all the other potential Democratic candidates for 2028 are going to be less than enthusiastic for Harris 2024, given that if she wins, she cuts their hopes off at the knees?
But it won’t matter anymore in 2028 if she loses so what choice do they have really

It's never the fault of the MSM mob and the money men when it's a candidate you don't want to run. Well at least you are predictable.

Not excuses, the Democratic star chamber has spoken, and you guys are falling in line like a bunch of cultists.
Joe has been the best President since FDR & now the most moral one since LBJ.
Somehow you all don't understand the loss we just experienced through the machining's of the big money donors.
Hopefully Harris will be the nominee and will win the election, but she has huge boots to fill after Biden.

Biden’s campaign had dried up more than a Buzzard’s belch. He was spending all of his time putting out fires instead of moving forward. Sometimes your top pitcher gets a sore arm and has to go to the bench.

Outside of the box idea, Adam Kinzinger. I don't really care for his politics, but I think it would show unity and rally those Never Trumpers.

Ask Trapper when polls now show a a 2% gain with Harris on the top of the ticket in Pennsylvania , what exactly Shapiro did to make that happen.

Wait a second, I don't think you quite understand just how good and moral Joe Biden is. Joe got stabbed in the back by the party he has served for his entire long life. Joe's infrastructure deal was akin to post civil war reconstruction and he did it with extreme Republican resistance and maga movement. That's impossible for 99.9 % of other presidents. Hail Joe Biden and his patriotism

I hope you understand that I am joking. Trap liked my post as if he didn't but he is notorious in his inability to detect sarcasm.
I'm in the middle of all this. I think Joe got a really bad hand these last few weeks, I think he was unfairly targeted and his record is indeed very good. I would have preferred another candidate from the start though. I also think it makes little difference in the end if it's Kamala or Joe. I am hoping and praying that Kamala can "turn it on" now that she is out of the presidents shadow. I hope that her persona to date was her playing it safe in an attempt not to outshine her boss the president. Kamala's charisma has so far been extremely lacking and she needs some to go after trump. Praying she has it in her as she would not be my first choice to run.
