And really, so when I ask for links to the 7 fawning articles on Trump and 1 article critical of Harris, your response was that links aren't needed of those because of stories the NYT did in 2016?

I'm somewhat with trap on this one but for me it's not about fawning articles.  It's just straight coverage.

A huge part of Trump's strategy is just straight up dominating the cycle, doesn't matter if the news is good or bad.  He purposely antagonizes and does stupid shit so HE is talked about, one way or another.  It's a war of exclusion essentially.  Every ounce of air he takes up is an ounce not given to his enemy.

In a vacuum with no trump garbage, the media does lean left on democrat crap but prior to Kamala taking the reigns, you would see a whole lot of crazy effort fact checks against biden and complaints about his age and everything with that.  Trump could lie 50 times in a speech and biden could lie less than a handful of times and suddenly you got fact check stories covering biden's five fibs and equally 5 fibs by trump - 100% clip against biden and 10% clip against trump.  Advantage - Trump.  Suddenly media is equalizing biden and trump even though it isn't remotely the case if your judging by lies. Letting entire weeks get dominated at the front with Trump stuff is a massive campaign gift to Trump.

Biden was harassed constantly and for quite a while.  Kamala has had markedly different treatment however but post convention you actually feel the media changing gears back to allowing trump to run his war of exclusion while he attempts to dominate the news cycle.  Turns out he's learned that he can't just say stupid things anymore to grab hold of the media (probably desensitized), now he has to do stupid things too - i.e. arlington.  

I of course don't have proof but it's the feeling i have.  We can only feel the feelings we have.

and the one about Vance says that he's attacking her with "inaccurate claims."  Oooh, that's some real fluffing.  The Youtuber article, I suppose if you think that "courting the bro vote" is considered fluff.  I don't, I think that kind of mocks them, except maybe to the "bros" social me

fits my war of exclusion theory though.

Nah, I don't think it's as easy as you're making out. The polls in the swing states (what really matters), are still very close, usually withing the margin of error.

Also, and I could be wrong here, but Kamala's margin in the swing states is less than Biden's or Hillary's were. I saw something to that effect recently. Of course, Biden won the swing states, but they were still pretty close.

Hopefully the pollsters have figured out how to account for Trumpiness. They did better in 2020 than in 2016, so they may be even better now. Enthusiasm for Trump among previous non-voters was a big part of that reason. Kamala may be inspiring some of her own previous non-voters. It's all about turnout.

my hope of hopes is that the pollsters have not figured out how to account for trump voters properly and that they are over-estimating them some how given that he is a tired old guy now, his "Buzz" is certainly a lot less this go around than the last two, and of course all his legal troubles pushing people away.

I'm thinking (hoping) it is slightly different, that the polls are not accounting for the surge in pro-abortion voters for the Democratics.

not sure how the pollsters work, but they would do well to try to account for the supporters of the racist, bigoted, christian sexual predator, convicted rapist and convicted felon who are too ashamed to say it out loud, even to a pollster.

heck, we see it here at tSwill - patriots who claim to not like their christian hero, because they know what it says about them, but then spend all of their time spewing his anti-America, anti-Constitution talking points. It's not hard to detect from that perspective.

I don't care how it's worded. Women should have the right to as many abortions as they want or choose to have none at all.

What's vexing the traditional media and more importantly vexing Trump and his advisors is the Harris campaign has gone to use of social media leaving traditional media to report on Harris Campaign has said on social media.

Trump's answer is to be more outrageous on his Truth Social site.
