I would love to see what happens if the facemask is called. Well maybe not but I would at least be interested to know

2 red zone fumbles and the turnover on downs probably cost us at least 13 points. Dropping the pick in the end zone would have cost OSU 7 points.

But, that still isn't enough to make up the difference. The 4th quarter was basically a scrimmage with back ups. They're just a better team. We're in a big time rebuild. There are things to work on, and things to build off of. It's a learning process. Hopefully, we learn something and it results in some wins against lesser opponents.

While that wouldn't make up the difference, those things would have given MSU a 20-17 lead at the half. Would have been interesting to see what happens in the second half with urgency and pressure increasing on both teams.

I don't think we would have won the game, but the score would have looked better.
