Look, I'm tooting my own horn. I started the thread that said "Playoffs this year, I'm not joking". This Franchise had us all flumoxed and probably pissed this season, but in my opinion the only mistake looking back with 20/20 vision was not keeping Flarherty. Oh how I wish he was here now. Only beuase we'd have a starting ace against those fucking POS yankees. These last two months have given me an unbelievable joy for baseball again.

One caveat: We are not playing with house money anymore. Yes, it was a miracle that we made the playoffs, but we've been the best team in baseball the last two months. We have a cy young pitcher throwing today, I EXPECT to win. Y'all can totally blame me for this thread, but Gents, and Dendro, put 50 bucks on the money line, fuck the "Mistake on the lake" and then Fuck the fucking Yankees.
