The streamer plans to raise prices by $2 for its Peacock Premium plan and mostly ad-free Peacock Premium Plus tier to $7.99 and $13.99, respectively.
Annual plans will rise to $79.99 from $50.99 for Premium and $139.99 from $119.99 for Premium Plus. The price changes will be implemented on July 18 for new customers while existing subscribers will see the changes go into effect at the start of their next billing date on or after Aug. 17.

Also, viewing kid humor through adult eyes is dumb.

Here’s the write up from IMDB:
Inspired by the critically acclaimed feature film, "The Magician," Scott Ryan reprises the role of charismatic, yet volatile hit-man, Ray Shoesmith. Driven by dark humour and off-beat conversation, the series follows Ray as he navigates his chilling business, while also maintaining friendships, parental responsibilities and a fledgling romance; tough roles to juggle in the modern age when you're a criminal for hire.
I’ll post the other show tomorrow. I’m finally tired.

GoodBye Earth - This is a Korean show about a town that is not getting fully evacuated after a meteor is projected to hit the Earth in 300 days. The first couple of episodes and last 2 or 3 episodes were ok, but the middle, I thought dragged in places and was kind of all over the place. I finished it just to finish it.
Atlas is coming out May 23 with J. Lo. I previewed this movie a couple of months ago. Unless they made some improvements, I'm not sure its going to be worth watching.

I'm enjoying The Veil, too. Elizabeth Moss is the lead, and she's excellent as usual.
Speaking of spy shows, The Sympathizer on HBO is really good, as well. Based on a pulitzer prize winning book by a North Vietnamese spy that worked in the South's secret police during the war and then fled to the US with his boss during the Fall of Saigon. Robert Downey, Jr plays 4 different characters (so far).

Mr. Inbetween is worth watching. The first episode really reels you in. He's a relatable hit man and you root for him right away. The love interest is good, the daughter is very likable, and the scene with his friend and the porn DVD is great. It also has one of the best actors from Justified with a surprising Australian accent.

I took a peek and it looks like the series is only three seasons long. The episodes also run well short of a half hour, probably in order to insert commercials. I’m only 4-5 episodes in and im really liking it.

Australia seems to have some decent TV. Rake and Wentworth are also good.

Watched some of the 1st episode. Was okay. Lisa wasn't annoying, as I thought she might be. Will watch again. The Pantry wrote:IFC has been running ads for a new series called In The Kitchen With Harry Hamlin starting May 15. That it's on IFC, wondering if it will feature some risqué scenes with wife Lisa Rinna? She's definitely not shy when it comes to nudity and IFC bares pretty much everything softcore.

It’s slower paced and, IIRCc, no substantial soundtrack. In that vein, it’s closer to Canadian produced films than American. But it’s a good story and well acted. I really enjoyed it.

The Wars shows are both fascinating and depressing AF. There are a lot of crazy ass people out there treating their neighbors or workers like garbage. I have to turn it off after awhile because of how sad it can be seeing people losing their minds over such petty stuff. But they’re like accidents and I can’t help myself but rubberneck to watch a little bit more. I’m so ashamed. lol

It’s probably not as funny as 2 1/2 Men, but really—what other sitcom is?

I did end up finishing it. Glad I did. Actually looking forward to a season 2 now (if there is one).
Speaking of wacky plots, I started watching Guilt on PBS (so, British made). IDK if it's available anywhere else, but there are three seasons. I've only watched 3-4 episodes but it's intriguing in an everyone is fucked and no one is who they seem kind of way.

Korean series. S1 was solid too. The dubbing adds a comedic factor, but the competitions are pretty intense. Also interesting to see the difference in cultures. S1 can on the heals of Squid Games, which added to the allure.

It's very good. I won't say anything else, because the part where Larry confesses his love to Bridget right after she accidentally shoots him in the jugular with a nail gun is something you definitely wouldn't want spoiled by some random internet nitwit.

Wait, are you talking about the game show they made based on the TV show from a couple years ago?

I forgot about that. I was thinking he was asking about the original series. GreenWay, if you're talking about the game show, I know nothing about it. I did hear about the touching scene in the final episode where, after winning the whole contest, Bridget visits Larry's grave and is shocked when he walks up behind her and says, "Miss me?" and it cuts to credits. But that's just what multiple people told me.

All of it, but Mrs. GW says watch the season first because the game show will contain spoilers. BTW, you’re the only one in a small group of people who have it a Meh. Everyone else was enthusiastic. Either you’re wrong or they are. Can’t wait to find out who.
