This is what happens when people use the pregame thread as the game thread and there is not enough time to prepare a proper game thread. We need to be better. From now on, anyone who posts in the pregame thread within an hour of kickoff needs to be banned. If you have something to say that close to game time, start the fucking game thread and say it there. If you don't have the balls, then keep it to yourself until a real Spartan shows up.

This game shows that Mel Tucker left MSU football in shambles and a shitty reputation for the new staff overcome.

Haller opted to hire 45 year old Jonathon Smith who came here eyes wide open knowing it’s a rebuild and it’s going to be a helluva a rebuild.

Cignetti is doing an incredible job and has his offensive system humming. He’s 63 and don’t think he was ever on Haller’s radar.

The team that had a shot to beat BC on the road, beat Iowa and played scUM decently in a losing effort had its ass handed to them on both sides of the ball.

Have never coached football but have to believe after the last month Smith is realizing the hole Mel Tucker dug is deeper than he (or Haller) imagined.

We all lost focus. Finger pointing is beneath us. It's easy to blame the starter of the game thread when it goes wrong. In reality, we are all in this together.

I was there, shouting at my phone for someone to start the game thread. Based on the past record I am not starting any game threads of even suggesting one be started.
