“They’ll be targeted arrests. We’ll know who we’re going to arrest, where we’re most likely to find ‘em based on numerous, you know, investigative processes,” he added.

This will turn into vigilante style just. Guarantee it. And there will be bloodshed. You’ll see local law enforcement with complete immunity wielding “justice”.

Oh yeah. Purge type stuff. Concentration camps. Cattle cars. Maybe there'll be a "hotline" you can call to report your neighbor as illegal when they don't cut their grass as frequently as you'd like. Full on fascism baby. Let's go!

No knock warrants, military levels of armament, trigger happy cops, and when people "resist," there will be violence, which will be used to "prove" that they were terrible people who needed to be taken care of.

Every law enforcement agency will need major expansion to accomplish this. ICE basically becomes the Gestapo. Controlled by, and fanatically loyal to, the president. And the president only. Anyone who doesn't look white enough can be stopped on the street. "Papers please. No papers? In the truck scum!"

Locally this summer an 11 year old boys mother called 9-11 because he heard two men speaking in a foreign language at a 4 way stop. In the article the sheriff praised the kid for doing the right thing in a situation where he felt unsafe. Police admitted there was no proof of an attempted kidnapping. Wonder where the kid learned to feel threatened around foreign speaking people….

Fun fact: the entire US prison population is 1.8 million.

If you think the logistics of mass deporting 20 million people isn't going to be astronomically expensive, and more importantly horrifically cruel & inhumane, then you're deluding yourself. Then there's the economic impact on industries that rely heavily on illegal labor (construction, fruit picking, meat processing, etc.)

But that's what the people want, so let's get on with it & don't do it half assed.

Look at the "detention centers" as a jobs program. We're gonna need a shit ton of guards while the "detainees" wait for the next train to take them...where exactly I'm not sure, but that's not important right now. What's important is to get them rounded up. Maybe you can be commandant.

I wonder which states will volunteer to "host" tens of thousands of "detainees" while they're waiting to be "processed". Maybe we can have a Gaza style open air prison.

If your businesses' economy is dependent upon cheap, illegal labor, perhaps you don't deserve to be running that business? Dems are all for a living wage and pro union jobs, and are now crying about the lack of cheap illegal labor? GTFO.

I agree 100%. McDonald's/Walmart/et al have made billions employing govt. subsidized cheap legal labor. But I think you missed the point. It's the economy stupid. And if you want to reduce inflation and buy cheap houses, groceries, shit at Walmart, etc., which is what the people just voted for, tariffs on China and deporting all the cheap labor ain't gonna help.

Nobody here is crying about losing cheap labor.  What concerns me the most though is that so much of our economy and life styles are based on the notion that our population continually grows.  If you crack down on immigration, that will be impacted.  Though I suppose the red state abortion bans could help offset that, force the poor white people to have a lot more babies to offset the lack of growth due to immigrants having kids.

If I'm being honest, the whole thing seems to be a design to eventually get the white people population up instead of the brown population growing. Remove the root cause of why browns are growing faster than whites (immigrants having kids), force your own white stock to have a lot more babies. We are merely cattle to these people and the white ones are more desired by them.

Perhaps Trapper can weigh in, but I would assume the next 4-8 years will officially be the Biden economy, and so we should all be OK?

If Trump was using "normal" economic levers, that might be a fair argument (without the last part). Economies normally don't steer like a car. More like a cruise ship. It takes time for inputs/adjustments/etc. to take effect. But across the board tariffs & mass deportation of cheap labor are not "normal" economic levers. They have an immediate effect, and thus are owned by Trump.

I have no problem with immigration. Legal, organized, regulated immigration. Fair to all nations. We do that now. They even have a little ceremony at the end as they become citizens. For some reason the people coming across the Mexican border didn’t think those rules applied to them.

Congress held off on budget Acts for FY 2025 which started October 1st, so the more typical one year hangover for the federal budget isn't there.

So of what Biden et al put in place is on autopilot unless Congress acts to repeal it.

However, a shock like removing millions from the labor force or suddenly raising taxes on many goods breaks the rules of economic momentum

You know it takes upwards of 10 years for "the process". The only difference between a legal and an illegal immigrant is paperwork. Speed up the paperwork process and you're in business. They'd much rather come in thru the front door rather than sneak in thru the window.

So, here is my thought on what these assholes plan on doing. I beleive they will make it tough, they will make it loud, they will show scenes of horrific violence and there will be deaths. This will last for two or three months and it will have an effect of slowing down incoming traffic and it might have the effect of people self deporting.

Only my opinion on what those assholes train of thought is.

We got most of them with smallpox.

Of course you are ignoring that most of the growth in the economy in this country has always been created by immigrant workers.

The people have spoken. They want 20 million brown people gone. That's the mandate. Get 'er done. No excuses.

You know it takes upwards of 10 years for "the process". The only difference between a legal and an illegal immigrant is paperwork. Speed up the paperwork process and you're in business. They'd much rather come in thru the front door rather than sneak in thru the window.
No, we don’t need to speed anything up.

Maybe we can just start shooting them now when they try to come across illegally. Sure would save a lot of time. Bullets are cheap. Guns are everywhere. We could probably make it so you don't even need a permit if you live near the border. Maybe we can deputize the locals. Maybe even give them free guns & ammo. We can have competitions & give out awards.

Or maybe just say no. You’re not coming in. Go back home. That’s what happens at Spartan Stadium if you don’t have a ticket.

That doesn't sound like much fun at all. What about the ones that are already here? Can we have fun with them?

Oh, I don't want to participate. I'll just sit and watch if that's all right.

I don't think we're going to be affording pets in the Trump economy.
