I'm going to be a "low information" citizen from now on.

Rogan is the same as most other content providers. They are what the money tells them to be. It was vastly underrated how toxic and racist this country is. It use to be a vacuum of Rush Limbaug and his show. No republican candidates in his hey day openly embraced him.

Then they found a candidate….. and stirred it up with the amount of racism that exist in the country and now you have an ecosystem. A very profitable eco system and it’s big enough to support multiple providers like Rogan, etc.

Regardless, the left wing media ecosystem as currently composed is failing, and needs to be overhauled or replaced entirely.

I'm not sure how we do what you're asking the party to do without moving the party to the right in a capitalist mentality.

For example, all of the media and social media companies out there are going to be against us if we don't kowtow to them in the future.  Democrats have been the leaders in going after some of these companies for these things and it's going to push them against us, which we will then have an even bigger hard time winning elections if they are de-prioritizing our stuff or banning it outright.  To get around that, you have to be friendly and to be friendly means taking up some core conservative principals in how we govern them.

The right ranted and raved at social media but in the end they are never going to do crap about regulating them and that's exactly what the socials want.  Repubs got their way in badgering them all for friendly policies that allow their insanity. You won't hear anything about it anymore.  It's all about the money though so that ranting and raving wasn't even close to a dealbreaker for the socials.  Dems on the other hand have been less friendly from a business perspective, which is truly the only thing that matters to them. We have got a LOT to overcome in the next election.

Aren't you sort of suggesting that the Democratic Party repudiate Bidens push to go back to the FDR policies and keep being Republican like. Why vote for that when you can vote for Republicans.

The coming recession, which will be blamed on the Democratics, will force prices back down in line with lower single digit profits.

I'm not suggesting that, I'm saying we are currently in a bit of a bind due to the Republican leanings of our businesses that are currently a huge part in enabling the propaganda machines that are enabling Republican victory.  I'm saying I don't currently see a way around it except by kow towing to what they want from a business perspective so that they aren't biased against us and to do that you may have to move the platform as it relates to businesses to the right.  The only other thing I can think of is that we would need to be ultra aggressive and hold them over a barrel with the threat of a mass Exodus of liberal users.  I'm currently of the opinion that that would be an empty threat for the moment because people, at least left wingers, don't generally choose which social media platforms to use based on politics.

That does not mean I support it.  That does not mean that another solution doesn't exist.  All this means is that I don't currently see the solution.  And that's the discussion I'm attempting to bring up, how can we achieve liberal goals without completely pushing these companies into the loving embrace of Republicans?
