They were way overcharged, probably 75% of it on "expensive" drinks that cost the establishment less that $10 per bottle.
At least TM gave the migrant that served them got a nice tip. Makes up for the under the table $1.50/hr. he’s earning.

I can obviously only confirm my own vote, but based upon the politics and views of the others at the table, yeah, I'd guess the others also went for Harris.

The Dems have become the party of successful, college educated, wealthy individuals. Look at the metrics. That's a fact. I think it's a key reason as to why they lost the election.

But you don't care about any of that. You want to make fun of me for having dinner with friends and colleagues. Maybe lob shots at my choice of California cabs? I'm shocked no one has asked what I wore yet. Some of you are amazing.

Presidency, house, senate. Dems lost ground in every single county, parish, and township in the whole frigging country. Lost all seven key battle ground states. "Whoa, but went to a decent dinner with friends! Herp derp!!!"

You probably shouldn't be discussing sexual assault at work. That sounds like an HR incident to me.

But be sure to tell them about the sale on eggs. That's just a good tip.

I was working with with someone 2-3 days ago.. have met with her quite a bit. She probably operates around a 3rd-4th grade level with regard to cognitive functioning. We had previously discussed the political climate.

I asked her what she thought about the election and she said "anytime it's boys versus girls the boys usually win".

so I'm sure she and folks like her will completely understand why men like y'all are laughing at her.

but, while you're drinking your expensive bottles of wine, please concern yourselves with the price of eggs.

We're so fucked and we have 2 guys gloating here. Talk about how bad the dems are, but once again, how do you combat disinformation that so many people believe, over the actual truth? My 401k is up 25% this year, I don't think that will ever happen again. Feed a lie to people every day and eventually they'll believe it. Why you 2 hate this country, I'll never understand. Congratulations on whatever it is that gets you off.

The two guys that are "gloating here" are some of the few I've seen here that actually want to find an answer to your question. The rest just want to be low information voters, tell you everyone is stupid, and mock people who drink wine.

What's the upper limit price on a meal that allows one to bitch about the cost of groceries? Taco Bell value meal? Applebees two for $20 deal? Local brew pub burger and fries, but it's on a Tuesday before 4:00 pm so it's 10% off?

Congratulations on whatever it is that gets you off.
We have progressives blaming this loss on Joe and doubling down on letting everyone in across the border. Brilliant! Watching Trump's Second Term - Page 5 502811600

I asked her what she thought about the election and she said "anytime it's boys versus girls the boys usually win".

so I'm sure she and folks like her will completely understand why men like y'all are laughing at her.

but, while you're drinking your expensive bottles of wine, please concern yourselves with the price of eggs.

You’re talking politics with someone operating at a 3rd-4th grade level? Watching Trump's Second Term - Page 5 1431518612

And that person had a concise, pithy answer, no less.

But I made up a story about going out to a nice dinner.

After a while you just have to give up. I don’t know that it’s funny but it’s not entertaining. That’s a fact.

What's the upper limit price on a meal that allows one to bitch about the cost of groceries? Taco Bell value meal? Applebees two for $20 deal? Local brew pub burger and fries, but it's on a Tuesday before 4:00 pm so it's 10% off?

I can't better myself if I don't know your rules.

I’d say maybe understand irony vs thinking it’s about groceries, your $4700 dollar meal, or the cost of either. But nah. It’s more fun the way things are.

Does anyone else want to explain to this dumb motherfucker? I'm tired of trying. I mean, talk about missing the point. Watching Trump's Second Term - Page 5 502811600

They were way overcharged, probably 75% of it on "expensive" drinks that cost the establishment less that $10 per bottle.

I can assure you we didn’t drink $10 wine. Watching Trump's Second Term - Page 5 502811600

Better double check at total wine and you are a fool to think that a rip of joint like the one you were at even pays wholesale price for those bottles.

My god, it was like you were there. Standing quietly behind the sommelier's shoulder the entire time. And he assured me that Tuesday was a good vintage. I feel so silly.

it's who they are.. they mock sexual assault victims, adults with cognitive disabilities and folks who struggle with every day life as they celebrate the weird obsessions they have with expensive dinners.

it's literally who christian republicans/libertarians are.

which, of course, isn't a surprise to any of us who pay attention.

You don't seem know how the restaurant business works and probably have some idealistic cockeyed idea that the price on the menu reflects the cost to the establishment.

You probably think that your coke at MickyDs costs 90% of what you pay when the most expensive part of the drink they hand you is the cup, and that is under 5 cents.
