You can tell when Miser is hard at work when you hover over the last poster name on the right of thread line and the dialog name goes fro [Object] [object] and then to the reply count a few minutes later.

Just to show off a little, you can now hover over the last post icon on the far right to preview the LAST post in the thread. Twisted Evil

Exactly that. On any thread or the last post icon, on an iPad, you have to click once which brings up the hover preview, then click again to proceed to the link.

I'm not sure how much Forumotion allows you to customize your CSS, but couldn't you call a "no touch" class with Modernizr?
