In between activities this weekend I will be cleaning up dog shit, and seeding, watering, covering with straw. And getting the pond going. I need this lawn fixed pronto if I have any hopes of holding my annual BBQ.

Used to be when I lived in MI. Lots of hunting when I was a kid. Bird hunting in the south is kind of shitty though. Only big birds are Turkey and Canada Geese (if you get a permit), after that is quail, doves etc. She's not trained. I just like the breed.

It looks very... Southern. You live in Georgia or something? Also, I used to have a Brittany. Worst dog in the world for the fist 6 or seven years... got gradually better after that. Best dog ever when she was around 10.

Yes, Atlanta(ish). She was a handful for the first year. We bought an invisible fence so now she has the run of the place and wears herself out bouncing between lawn, woods, back to lawn, in the house, back out again, and so on. Totally different dog.

Did it myself this year. Reaping the rewards for all the years I paid someone to do the chemicals. I'm pretty sure it will start to go south in a hurry now that I'm in charge.
