Same. Sitting on the couch watching with a cold beer. I haven't been to a Super Bowl party since before I had kids, and even then it sucked because EVERYBODY HAD TO WORK THE NEXT DAY. If they're going to wait two weeks to play the game, why won't they play it on Saturday?

I have an idea for this. It seems stupid but honestly as someone who was a huge NFL honk for a number of years I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work and it's so fucking simple. Stopwatch. I'm not sure how many seconds constitutes possession. Have a panel figure it out. But once you have that number, at least it's not arbitrary anymore. If he loses control at any time before that # of seconds is up, not a catch. Otherwise, catch.

Have Super Bowl commercials jumped the shark? I loved them back in the day especially the classic Budweiser ones: frogs, spuds , Cedric and so on. They are no longer funny and there are too many of them.
