Tonight's candidate:

Man accidentally kills himself while taking photos with gun

A 43-year-old Concrete man died Sunday after accidentally shooting himself in the face with what he thought was an unloaded gun.

The man and his girlfriend were at a residence in the 46000 block of Baker Loop Road taking photos of themselves with the gun when the incident occurred, Skagit County Sheriff’s Office Chief of Patrol Chad Clark said.

The girlfriend reported that the pair had done this several times during the day, with the man apparently removing the bullets and then reloading the gun multiple times.

After the last time, however, a bullet apparently remained in the gun, Clark said.

I just laughed out loud.

And a new candidate - the supposed "tiger whisperer"............

'Tiger whisperer' mauled to death in tiger's sleeping area at Palm Beach Zoo

Police in West Palm Beach, Fla., said a longtime zookeeper died Friday afternoon after being mauled by a Malayan tiger, local media reported.

Palm Beach Zoo spokesperson Naki Carter said the tiger was not on exhibit at the time of the attack and did not escape its enclosure.

Officials closed the zoo and evacuated patrons after initially telling them to barricade themselves inside a gift shop as a precaution, WSVN-TV reported.

Zoo officials identified the victim as Stacey Konwiser, 38, and said she had just passed her three-year anniversary at the zoo.

“Stacey was an expert," Carter told reporters. "She dedicated her life to her mission of protecting this species."

Konwiser’s husband is also a zookeeper at the facility.

Carter called Konwiser “the tiger whisperer” because of how well she worked with the site’s four Malayan tigers, the Palm Beach Post reported.

You can tell from the manes which one's the top or bottom. My dog is humping the chaise lounge as we speak.

I blame climate change. Literally a gay pride.

Don't see anything indicating the Tiger lady did anything wrong other than having a stupid nickname. I doubt she was pulling Siegfried and Roy stunts with them, from what I've ready she was into conserving the species and shit. I guess we'll see.

I'm curious as to how this shit works. The Detroit Zoo has 2 tigers, and they don't get along so they never share the same enclosure. Only one is ever on display. I wonder how they manage that? Do humans ever share the enclosure with the animals, even briefly? During feedings, etc? I imagine it's somewhat inevitable that they would have to at times. Wonder how this shit went down.

But. Damn nature. You scary.
