I never had thought of it until it happened to me. I don't think I am the most controversial poster out there. You would think you would at least see a "This post has been edited by ____" on the post. But there is nothing.

Makes me wonder if the posts I quoted in the past were the actual words of the original poster or not.

I have done one by accident. Thought I was quoting it and not editing. It's because they put the edit button right next to the quote button. It was before I realized I had mod powers actually. But none since. I have merged a couple threads.

No bans yet. But I'm gonna get wasted Saturday night after the track finals.

I'ma say this and then I won't revisit.

There are 3-4 people who seem really concerned about the moderation of this place and its current state. I don't think anyone else takes it that seriously, including those who for some fucking reason have been made moderators.

Everyone else seems to think its fine, and pretty much are all in on the joke.

If something here is ruining the experience of visiting the site, it would seem the common sense thing to do after you have voiced your opinion once or twice would be to just not visit.

I think that the other 6 or 15 or 22 or whatever posters here would be cool with the small community shrinking even further. If it dries up and dies, it dries up and dies. It's just a place on the internet to fuck around.

And yes Herbie. I know you are going to try really hard to post something really super hurtful to me in response. My ban finger is literally hovering over the left button on my mouse.

Well this is certainly the complete opposite as to the reason to ban certain posters....you and the rest of the gsm promised growth as a result, and cried your asses off to make it happen

At the last mod retreat in Mio after our second slice of pie, it got quite heated. One faction said the cancer hadn't been cut enough. One faction said it was just right. OTPT was in a fetal position mourning the loss of Moose.
