Warriors possibly pursuing Durant (and Nowitzki as plan B)

Terrible idea. They need another rim protector who can play small ball, and they need another creator/playmaker. KD fits the bill for both of those, Dirk neither.

Durant wants to go to Detroit. I can feel it in my bones.

Durant seems like an odd fit in GS.

I think that GSW saw they are missing a couple of things now. They need a big man. Bogut getting hurt changed the last 2 or 3 games. I think they also need someone who's going to attack the rim. When that 3 point shot is lost, they are very vulnerable. Granted, I don't think Curry ever really looked teh same after getting hurt earlier and missing time. Barnes should be traded, if he has any value left whatsoever. What was he 1-15 in the last 2 games, or something ridiculous like that?
The NBA got what they wanted though, which was a game 7. 31 million people watched the game. That's all that matters.

He wants max, and some team will pay him that. I'm not sure you get him at max. He'd probably be a great addition to the team but is it worth max to the warriors to get a defensive specialist who will play less than 35 minutes a game?
