I don't know who's the bigger bitch in this, the Heat or Wade. On the one hand, Wade feels disrespected because they put more of an emphasis on re-signing Whiteside, and didn't loop him in on efforts to get Durant (who Wade supposedly doesn't like). On the other hand, Wade needs to realize he'll be 35 by mid-season, and the Heat can't just let the team revolve around him and let Wade make personnel decisions. At least that's my take from just seeing the local news this morning and otherwise not giving a fuck about the NBA.

It is surprising, though, as he's pretty big in the community off the court.

The reaction from fans down here is hilarious, though. In general, they think every athlete wants to come here, and are shocked whenever any athlete leaves. So when LeBron left, and now Wade, it rattles their arrogance. It cracks me up. Welcome to sports. It happens everywhere.
