What did you do with your "Don't tread on me Flag"?

I think once the weather breaks this spring they'll be out in force.  With the trillion or so added to the debt and tax cuts being only temporary for individuals and permanent for corporations, they will rise again!! Onward tea party Patriots!

Same as you chuckle at the Founding Fathers for their ignorance and gullibility? I'd guess most people wouldn't agree with that assessment of Benjamin Franklin.....but then again most people aren't smug Progressives that think themselves better than everyone else.

Not all roads and bridges are government built, haven't you heard of the new thing in toll roads??? People used to build more private roads until the gubbamint elbowed them out. Of course only the government can build a subway at $4.2 Billion per mile - any private party would be broke, indicted or fired before that happened.

We need to have people pay for everything.

You want to go from Detroit to Lansing? $4.00
Lansing to Grand Rapids? $3.00 to Holland? Add another $1.00

Why do all those serfs think they're entitled to go anywhere if they can't afford tolls.
