It's not too late for this group. Will need some major strides, the guys you mentioned also struggled early as well. With that said, complete ass kicking at home.

Last year at this time, we were ranked #2 and had a big win over Oregon (which was a fun night).

I'm hoping Saturday was just one of those days, but having a hard time convincing myself.

A. Bama had 4 defensive players drafted in the first 2 rounds. MSU had 1. So, not that crazy.
B. Bama didn't play Michigan last year.
