In March of 1979, a kid from Fremont was standing next to me on the rebound line waiting for one of my teammates to take a free throw. There was two seconds left in the half. My teammate missed the shot, the kid from Fremont grabbed the rebound and threw it one handed down the court and made a full length shot to end the half. Only counted two back then. Then I said to him "Holy shit, nice shot". My coach benched me for the start of the second half cause I said that to the kid. Whatever, they beat us by about half a dozen or so.
