Riddle me that. And don't say it's because he can play. Greg Hardy can play, too.

I don't think Josh Brown's wife, or Janay Rice cooperated either. Did they?

Curran then entered the hotel where an employee advised him of a distress call from a room near Clark's, where the hotel guest reported that it sounded like "a head was being bounced off the wall." The guest also reported that small children ran from Clark's hotel room stating, "Frank is killing our sister." The hotel employee later stated to police that after she went into the room to address the disturbance, Clark told her "I will hit you like I hit her," and then "shoulder checked" her as he walked away.
The hotel guest from a room nearby also told police she had her friend knock on Clark and Hurt's hotel room door to see what was happening. The guest then said her friend "observed the female laying on the ground, unconscious, only wearing a t-shirt."
The officer eventually entered the hotel room after the incident, and observed a broken lamp in several small pieces next to the bed, and began to speak with Hurt. Curran noticed a large welt on the left side of her cheek, and blood near the left side of her "temple area." Hurt's mother and brother, who is 15, also were present in the room at the time. Hurt's mother told Curran she did not witness anything. She explained she was in another hotel room when her young children ran in and stated, "Frank killed Diamond."
Hurt's brother explained that he was in the shower at the time of the alleged altercation when his younger brother, a juvenile, entered the bathroom and told him Clark was "punching" Hurt. He went on to explain that when he came out of the shower, Clark had Hurt "up against the wall." Hurt was trying to fight back, the brother said, when he explained that Clark "grabbed her by the throat, picked her up off the ground, and slamming her to the ground while also landing on top of her."
Hurt told Curran that she and Clark were lying on the bed in the hotel room when they began to argue. She explained that she got mad and threw a television remote at him before Clark tried to restrain her. At that time, she said she bit his nose. From there, Hurt said Clark pushed her head down into the bed before they both got up. At that point, she said Clark "punched her in the face," causing her to fall and break the lamp near the bed. Hurt said she then threw an alarm clock at him while he was attempting to leave the room. Hurt's brother told Curran that Clark had drank "at least a fifth of Hennessy" that night. Hurt herself said she had not been drinking. She received a portable breathalyzer test, and the result was .000 percent.

With Rice there was video. They didn't need her.

Hardy's chick clammed up, too. Let's be real, of course the team and league don't care. But somehow these stories catch three light of day, the media runs with them, the outrage grows, and these guys are ended. Clark's case is not much different, other than it hasn't caught fire yet. Is it?

I don't know. As in many things the amount of ink spilled on it determines many things. If it's harped on over and over then eventually the rest of them feel the need to "catch up".
