Personally, I'm a defensive sympathizer. Yeah our unit's best player has one foot out the door and our Senior FS frequently shows up to practice drunk or high or some combination of the two. The fact of the matter remains, though, that you offensive apologists have hung my guys out to dry game-in and game-out. Leaving us with short fields, accumulating no time of possession. It's more of the fact that a 2-7 season is not worth risking Malik's potential earnings down the road. That's not really a selfish attitude, just logic.
