You are kind of adorable yourself Goose.
You have become this board's perpetual contrarian.

Of the 2 dozen or so Democrats I know who are active in party politics there are only 3 or 4 who think the Super delegate will survive and a majority think it might be done before 2020.

Well golly.....this is awkward for all of those "over-represented" arguments.

The Electoral College has voted and Trump is our next President.  HRC was a poor candidate who lost key precincts in FL, MI, PA and WI that President Obama won in '08 and '12.  Worse is she won precincts President Obama won in '08 and '12 by lower margins that still would have won MI, PA and WI.

Trump won the Electoral College.  Clinton won what can be called wasted votes since we are living in the Electoral College world.  Winning CA and NY by wide margins would be significant in a popular vote system but that doesn't matter.
Winning MI by about 10,700 with 4.8M votes cast is as important as Clinton winning CA by 4.25M with 14M votes cast.

Trump is the President.  I won't argue he isn't legitimate.  He won the Electoral College.  That's about as legitimate as it gets.

But questioning cabinet picks, national security advisor choices, his opting for a private security force to augment or supercede the Secret Service detail, his refusal to release tax returns, his delays on how he wants to separate himself from his businesses without using a blind trust and including 3 of his children in official meetings aren't attempts to delegitimize an election.  Neither is investigating Russian involvement in hacking the DNC or possible Russian involvement in the Presidential and some Congressional campaigns.

Raising questions that will effect how this country goes forward for at least the next 4 years is being part of a law abiding, legal opposition.  I will question and be critical just as Republicans and "conservatives" (those who still won't identify as Republicans after Bush2) questioned everything President Obama did for the last 8 years.  My right to question and criticize is just as legitimate as theirs has been for the last 8 years.

Trump won the Electoral College vote.  Doesn't matter how the Electoral College came about or why we still use it.  We are a country that abides by the results of the Electoral College.

The electoral college is a tired old system. The NYT ran a great op-ed the other day calling out its ugly history, and all of the negatives involved around it.

One thing most people haven't mentioned is it causes our politicians to devote more attention to a few swing states like Ohio and Florida. Especially at the end of their first terms.

Eventually the country will move towards the popular vote, the electoral college is old, outdated and unfair. Future generations will put it to rest.
