We are talking about Shannon Brown now. This is not an astronaut board, Floyd.

Ok, but I'm going to point this out, then I'll move along.

We talk on cells, we have a more powerful computer in our hands than they used to get to the moon, we have engines that run better furnaces that are more efficient we can talk to things that will then light our house and start our cars. We even have cars which drive themselves and a billion other things many due to the space program.
But we don't have more rocks from moon landings.

Very good points, DWags, but they aren't very funny.

This technology has not improved the outlook of the human race as much as a single moon landing was celebrated as progress for mankind. Considering the state of the world both continue as illusory achievements.

While this is dead accurate and well stated what percentage of the people would give back their cell phones vs give back the moon landings.

I would not be surprised if you took a poll of Americans, science would come in last in a list of god, bible, jesus, trump. and magic as a reason their cell phone does what it does.
