I would think finishing higher in the Big Ten would benefit us more (than losing more games in the regular season to hopefully benefit by gaining another win against an average team in the Big Ten Tournament).

I would think finishing higher in the Big Ten would benefit us more (than losing more games in the regular season to hopefully benefit by gaining another win against an average team in the Big Ten Tournament).

Isn't that the scenario you presented? Extra rest vs. playing an average team (and getting another win)?

If you want that extra win in the Big Ten Tournament, we would have to lose in the regular season to fall out of the Top 4.

Unless you have a scenario in which we'd win out and fall out of the Top 4?

I really don't.

If we can get the double bye, I think Izzo goes hard for the BTT championship. And I think this team could possibly pull it off this year, I like how they're coming together right now.

I was hoping just for victories. This team needs numbers. We get to 19 we're in. This team isn't winning the BTT.

If we can beat, or hang with Purdue Saturday then we have a chance to win the BTT but I don't think there is much of a chance.
