If you wanted to make some extra cash while working out, maybe you could run and exercise while wearing sandwich board advertising. Nothing too big; more like the size of your sleeveless button up sweater vest.

I don't listen to anything other than my rhythmic breathing when I run. I know a lot of people who do but it's never appealed to me.
If I were ever to run on a treadmill, I could see where it would be nice.

solid list, though.
I would suspect that if I were to put one together, it'd have a nice mix of The Hold Steady, The Gaslight Anthem.. Drive By Truckers, etc - a lot of the tunes I generally listen to probably wouldn't be too conducive to running. Definitely throw in some classic rock and maybe some late 70's- 80's metal.
