General Motors led monthly sales declines for the Detroit Three, falling 15.4% for July compared to the same month a year ago, as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles fell 10% and Ford was down 7.5%.

Regardless of who is President or governor, the US auto business is cyclical.

Cars are lasting longer and as prices keep climbing fewer can buy new.

I don't disagree with what you're saying..

I'm just wondering how the right and their accomplices in the mainstream media would react if these numbers came in during a colored boy's administration.

Why would I buy new, when I can buy something 3 years old with about 30k miles on it for about 1/3 the price? Then again I've never had a new car, and I prefer to buy over lease.

I buy 2-3 year old cars as well but that's not the point.

It's impossible for the world's auto suppliers to keep on building vehicles with increasing longevity and increasing prices and expectvto keep pace with historically high sales.
