WI Sen. Ron Johnson makes a truly tasteless comment about Sen. John McCain's brain tumor

Thinks it's why he voted against repealing OCare. Of course, he changed his answer after feeling the backlash.

at first I thought maybe he meant it in a positive way.. for every day Americans who have healthcare issues - ya know, kinda like "maybe it took a brain tumor for Sen. McCain to fully appreciate how difficult life can be for average Americans"..

but clearly he's just another republican jerk who puts politics and power above the struggle of his friends and colleagues.

That's how i read the headline at first, too. Many on the Left had been criticizing JMc leading up to the vote because of what he was going through. It's not a good look to vote to strip millions of Americans of their healthcare while at the same time benefitting from excellent medical care yourself, which comes at taxpayer expense.

Must be a lib deep down inside. That is a lib comment. So lib.

Before he was US Senator, lawyer Ron Johnson sided with the Catholic Church in opposing a victims bill to protect the church from law suits resulting from their pedophile priests they rotated around the country.

He's a despicable person.

It's not about being PC. Johnson certainly could have gone after McCain for his vote. In fact, I could argue it would be PC to go easy on McCain for his vote simply because of his current health status. Suggesting McCain's opposition to the bill was because of his brain tumor was simply disgusting and heartless.

however, with someone like an admitted sexual predator with contempt for war heroes, disabled people, women, Mexicans, Muslims, etc. in office, Sen. Johnson won a lot of points among the deplorables.

which is even more disgusting.. not surprising, obviously - just disgusting.
