Rutgers scored points against the Big Ten East’s big four for the first time in nearly two full years.
The Scarlet Knights scored 14 points in a Saturday loss at Michigan. It was their first points against Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State or Michigan State since a 49-16 loss to Michigan on Nov. 7, 2015. In that span, Rutgers lost 58-0 to Ohio State, 78-0 to Michigan, 49-0 to Michigan State, 39-0 to Penn State and 56-0 to Ohio State.
