After giving all my guns away a couple years ago I got lonely and bought one of these this summer - a Stoeger Coach Gun. Nice short barreled SxS 12ga., easy to pour someone a cup of warm lead if they want it.



Think I'm going to buy a 9410 for the grandson next.

A few years ago Keltec improved quality and reliability. Their past is kind of hard to get away from unfortunately. The PMR-30 has been highly reviewed.

I like to watch Tiger games with it resting on my thigh - daydreaming I'm guarding the strong box on a Wells Fargo stage.



...then I snap awake and the Tigers are behind by 11 - reality sucks sometimes.

That's good stuff.  I have similar feelings when I go shooting with my Winchester model 93.  For me, there's something about a lever action that I have trouble describing.

Yep, thus the thought of the 9410 for the grandson. I've given each of my boys 1894s, one in 30_30 and the other in 32 special. Gave the son in law a 336 Marlin after he made it to 5 years with my daughter.

Ahhh, thanks for pointing out that I got the year wrong! lol. My FIL gave me this particular rifle, so it has sentimental value on top of it's general coolness.
