When I was a kid growing up in Williamston (late 60s), there was the traditional Floyd the barber-type of guy who everybody went to, and that's where I got my first butch haircuts. Then, some swingin' new barber opened a shop a few doors down. He always had the Playboy centerfold pinned up in the men's room. Once I was allowed to walk downtown by myself, that place became my barber of choice.
