Yep. Not a great hire, not the worst, and he will bide time with the kids on the roster. Gardenhire is taking the role previously held by Ralph Houk and Les Moss. I wish I knew who our next Sparky will be in a few years. I like to anticipate.

I'm just stunned he took it, reports were he was in "high demand" based on Arizona's season. Probably good enough to land him a team with a glimmer of hope, instead the idiot takes a job that is going to see record setting lows.

Here's the thing, whoever they hired is going to be fired in 3-4 years if the rebuild is successful or if it isn't. So they really should have just hired Ozzie so we as fans could get some entertainment out of the next few years.
