Turtle Time - this is a statement game for the program

After the shitshow in Columbus, this week is a statement game for the team and the program.
Senior day, last home game, and all that stuff - blah, blah, fucking blah.
Maryland is down, damaged goods and it is time to get things rolling for the last couple of games and into next year.
Give me something to cheer about, while I sober up in the stands and get rained on (again).

Just like the Bucknuts did after getting a train run on them in Iowa City; MSU needs to comeback strong and not only win this game but win it in an impressive manner.

Fuck sitting on a 10 point lead, I want to see them open up an early lead and then to for the throat.
Which is not the way Coach D, or Warner, typically go. I'm tired of trying to run out 20 minutes of clock with a 9-10 point lead, watching those thrilling dive plays to grind the clock, only to hope to hold on at the end when the lead gets cut to 1 score.

I want to see Lewerke pulled in the 3rd Qtr, a few series for Messiah and then Terry gets a send off in his last game at Spartan Stadium throwing some shitty passes to end his career.

It wouldn't be the same if Terry doesn't throw a pick-six to end his career at MSU.

I think part of this has to do with the complete lack of a bye week after week 2.

Yeah this team is wearing down. We should win out but I think both games will be close. The bowl practice and rest will really help us going into the bowl game and next season. If I were a betting man, I'd be gobbling up the Terps getting 17, regardless of their QB situation.

I think UMD keeps it close. I think our guys are exhausted. That being said, it would be strange for an CMD team to use that as an excuse. I also expect the stadium to be about 1/2 full. Unfortunately I'll be at Disney, so I'll have to try to watch on my phone.

Dudes, I'm very pleased with this season. Next year is going to be even better. We'll beat Maryland. Probably won't be pretty but we'll get it done.

Anyone going out to Tempe next year for the ASU game? Pretty sure my crew is going.
