What are we going to do about it?

Dismisses expertise as "biased" wants a more balanced advisory committee and so will bring in industry folks. Assuming we don't take this whole administration down like... soon, this could be very bad.

Until Trump and his dedicated synchophant VP Pence are gone we sit back and collectively shake our heads.

There are more GOP members of Congress and US Senate who fear losing an election more than fear an authoritarian oligarchy.

Yep, there's really nothing that can be done. These are policy moves we knew would come if the Rs took hold of everything.

I disagree. Your average R administration would not be so blatantly anti environment.

Dismantling the EPA has been a popular call of the Rs for awhile now. Trump said he would. They don't see it as anti-environment; they call it pro-business and anti-regulation. These moves are of no surprise to me, nor to most people I hang around. Maybe you watch a Sinclair owned tv station.

All those Republican voters in the lilly white suburb of Rockford MI just north of GR are going to see first hand what they voted for and got.

Turns out Wolverine Worldwide (of Hush Puppies fame)that had tanning operations and manufacturing in Rockford since 1903 started dumping waste and pig skin hides that didn't meet inspection in places around Rockford since at least the 1950's and it continued after they stopped manufacturing in Rockford in 2010.

They have found 35-40 dump sites that have polluted a lot of wells with PFAS and at least one Rockford school is using bottled water.
