Don’t forget to vote today

Local elections have a greater effect on your life than national elections and yet there will be a far lighter turnout. Usually just old very partisan voters go.

Thanks for the reminder DWags. I never even gave a thought about my local ballot until this. I'm off the hook, though. I had to check but no voting in my burg today.

This. My area has 3 very ill conceived millage votes. They are so bad even the pro-taxers aren't supporting, but knowing this area the sheep will vote yes.

Went out canvasing this weekend and will be voting today.

I've voted in all but one election this year. It's amazing too, a few of the local elections I've been to the turn out at my polling place is about 200 or less. If people properly organized they could really turn things around quickly.

Duggan beat him handily in the primary 68/27, so I'm basically interested in seeing if Young II made up or lost ground in the last three months. After the debate, I'm guessing he lost ground.

I keep reading some similar issues in Macomb, but I don't know anything about what's going on and if people are taking money for themselves.

But one thing I know is Macomb Twp will need to raise their taxes. The population is growing, roads and sweets are outdated, and I want to keep schools top notch. Sits going to happen, especially since the taxes there are the cheapest around. People on the neighborhood app Lee bitching they don't want it. But it's bound to happen if they don't want it to be a dump.

I don't have kids so I vote no on everything. Fuck everybody else. Bob is a sucker.
