I have a problem. For the 2nd straight game tonight against Long Beach St, the team is up 40 points & he has Jackson & Bridges playing late in the game. Bridges played until there was 3 minutes left in the game! His frontline bench could start at most schools. It's a long season & if he keeps playing Bridges & Jackson that long in meaningless games, one of them is going to get hurt & then those bench players may not be ready when it comes to March Madness. I blame Izzo even though it appears DJ Stephens is making the substitutions. My God, Carter had 3 minutes tonight at the end of the half & didn't play the 2nd half at all & he could be their best post team player because of his unselfishness & passing skills. WHY is Stephens in charge of the substitutions?

Late in the game I’m with you, but has izzo been shortening his bench lately in general? I haven’t watched these last 2 collect a paycheck and get your ass kicked games. You’d think these would be the games the longer bench would benefit from. Interesting.

Carter's minutes have been a mystery to me too. I think he's very unselfish and a very good Post passer. Is he hurting?

Yep. Tough to watch these ass kickings. Anxious for the B10 to start. Wish I had watched the Knicks vs Boston last night instead.

Late in the game vs early in the game doesn’t really matter against Long Beach whatever, right? It’s all about getting work in. The game was never in doubt so they could have sat all together and the result would’ve been the same. First five minutes or last five minutes is the same thing when we were always going to win by 80.

In that light, total minute- Jackson, 26 bridges, 31. I’d say that’s about right for Jackson and probably about 10 minutes too much for Bridges.

Black dude with glasses gets up and walks down the floor emphatically shaking his head back and forth into the lockerroom. Just pissed as hell. Never saw him show any emotion before. I think he might have kicked somebodies ass at halftime.
