I believe it's pronounced "mill-e-wah-que" which is Algonquin for "the good land."

I almost bought a French battle rifle during a gun show loop-hole event. The seller claimed it had been dropped once and never fired. The guy seemed like a pussy though, and he talked funny so I didn't but it.
