If you're being sincere, Goose, I apologize.

I assumed based on your posting history that it was your opinion that racism claims are often overblown.

I personally don't think this is a racism thing. I think ESPN, desperate for attention was looking to make connections that may not be there. It was a hail mary, so to speak. I also think that the empowerment of black voices in sports and in sports broadcasting does cause a lot of consternation with SOME sports viewers, who would prefer that athletes and analysts would "just stick to sports" which I don't think is practical. Race is intertwined with everything American, in my opinion.
