Check out my sweet new car graphic, bros
I've loved the Pumpkins since Gish and have been thinking about doing this for a while. I finally got it done a few days ago. I debated for a long time about which lyric to use but I'm really happy with the one I chose. The graphics guys at the shop did an amazing job.
What do you think, bros?

Whatever.
I really wanted to get "I am still just a rat in a cage" but we couldn't make the spacing work. I thought about just getting "Tonight, tonight." I liked the simplicity of it, but "The world is a vampire" seemed more appropriate, especially given the current political climate.

Vanity license plates can be clever but doctoring your ***ahem*** vehicle with stupid shit like that is like an 8-year-old clipping baseball cards in his bike spokes to make noise.

I have no doubt I ruined enough good cards that, if I had them now, would have covered at least half a year of my kids college.

The bottom went out of the baseball card market years ago.

Never did it. My Schwinn Stingray with the chopper handlebars and banana seat didn’t need any decorations. Saved all my baseball cards, but never organized them. Had six shoeboxes full, all of which my mom sold at a garage sale.

Had a Stingray. Upgraded to a Collegiate (5-speed) for a couple years then upgraded to a Continental. Rode the piss out of that thing. Guessing it had over 20K miles on it when I sold it at a garage sale in the mid 90's. Forget how many sets of tires I put on it. Replaced the rims, large front sprocket and rear cogset twice.Jake from State Farm wrote:tGreenWay wrote:

A friend is a long time motorcycle guy. Dirt bikes, sport bikes and cruisers. One of his neighbors gave him a 70's era Honda Mini Trail 50 about 10 years ago just to get it out of her garage. He restored it to like new condition for his kids. The things are selling for $3K now.

I've got a 78 Goldwing sitting in my garage. I might even get around to putting it back together this year.

Mom sold that, too, at a previous garage sale. She also sold two full carrying cases of original Matchbox and Hot Wheels. DWags is right, that stuff could’ve paid for a lot of classes.

Different time. Limited supplies. Today, the market is flooded with different brands and each brand has a number of different types and styles of cards. It’s overwhelming.
Back then, there was pretty much Topps and that was it, plus, you got to see your favorite team on weekends and sometimes a special broadcast during the week. Today, everything is available all the time, which means nothing is really special anymore.
Not saying that’s bad—it’s just how it is.
