I've missed the cold and snow over winter break. A little dusting in EL this morning - that's about it.

This is way better. Couple more months of this and then an early spring, now that’s what I’m talking about.

Mrs. GreenWay is supposed to be in Grand Rapids tomorrow morning. The storm is going to be worse there, and right at morning drive. Hoping she’ll reconsider the entire day. I love the snow and cold - but not so much when I have to travel in it.

Good luck to the Mrs. GreenWay - gonna be slow going in the morning... You should go with her to GR, camp out at Founder's and grab a room around the corner.

the snow isn't a big deal. Temps are gonna be pretty chilly. Calling for a high of -2 on Wednesday.

Seeing 12-18" predicted in GR. Probably not worth the trip.

Greenway should definitely go up with mrs greenway. That way she only gets 1, maybe two inches at most.

My wife has already decided that she's "working from home" tomorrow.. (yeah.. yeah.. as opposed to her usual spot at the corner of Cedar and Kalamazoo..)... wise guys.

Not sure what I'll do, aside from shoveling. East Lansing schools are already closed. The kid texted from the comfort of SnyPhi and said school cancellations are the only thing she misses about high school.

That’s now the info I’m getting from the Weather Channel. A friend who works for a West Michigan tv station is still telling me 6”-10”. We shall see.

6-10" seems low to me in a lake effect area with Lake Michigan ice coverage levels possibly below normal. Like you said, we shall see.

Michigan.gov tweeted out Monday that those offices will close at 10 a.m. "due to the emergency snow conditions impacting the state of Michigan."

As of right now, her meeting is still on and Mrs. GreenWay is getting ready to drive to GR. She knows I’m not happy.

I don’t get it, the wind is coming straight off Lac St Clair from east to west. WTF? Is it swirling?

My wife's car is a 2017 FWD with ~ 30k miles on it. I noticed the front tires were pretty bald in the fall and figured I could get through the winter by rotating as the back were pretty ok. She took the day off tomorrow to drive for the 3rd grade field trip. I didn't feel good about that given the weather so I took it in this morning to get them rotated. Well apparently you want your best tires on the back to prevent fishtailing in this kind of weather. I did not know this but apparently it's a relatively well known thing. So more new tires after just buying 4 and new front and back brakes for my ride in December.
