cute little dude.. I kinda like the ear thing he has going on in the first picture..
he also looks like he's approaching with a certain degree of trepidation.

Awesome, Wake! Congrats! Is that a corgi or a frankenmutt? And does it have a name yet?
Also, mow your lawn.

He's an 8 week old corgi pup! He came with a name already, Max, but we might change it. I'm pushing for an MSU related name

His ears are so cute. And he's still a little cautious around us. Frank (Warner) is terrified of him though and I'm here for that

Can comfirm. Puppies downtown work every single time. Did it during undergrad, and joked about with Mrs. GW both times we had a puppy. And uh, both times I got the death stare, so I didn’t go downtown with the pup either time.

Nice dog Wakefield.
Corgis are friendly and great companions. They love to walk and hope you have shoes/boots and routes.

For the record, I have two male dogs. Once has balls and the other is ball-less. I must say, the one who has balls...they're spectacular!

Also FTR: The male dogs still intact at the dog park were always far and away the biggest assholes. Not just trying to jump everything, but also the most aggressive with all dogs in trying to start or starting fights. Most dog owners will know this.

I get what you're saying. My intact dog is a 3 year old working line German Shepherd. We don't go to dog parks. With that said, if you met him he would try to lick your face off. He knows that I am alpha.

Just curious: Do you have to pay more for insurance because he’s a GSD?

The wife unit pays the insurance. She said negative.

Interesting. Someone told me a year ago or so that some insurance companies charge more if there’s a certain breed of dog living in the home. GSD, Pitties, Rotts, etc. Glad you two aren’t getting dinged.

If so,
If so, I would switch insurance companies in a heartbeat. My dogs would likely lick an intruder.
On the other hand, Wake should be worried. We all know how vicious Corgis can be!

Corgis are bloodthirsty. Wake will probably get eaten in his sleep.

•How is Wake doing? Did he keep his name?
