I need the MSU Green.....

Just bought a house, first order of business is building a bar in the basement.  

Step one will be painting said bar green.  I've heard glidden has a green, but its the old green.  Anyone know which green to use?  

I know they have a color matching system, but the old posters I have that I can cut up are glossy and the color comes out a little weird when its a glossy surface. 

Help me out.........

If the person at Home Depot doesn't know what RGB numbers are and how they make colors, (A) you should look at them confused as shit and (B) they aren't worth shit.

Home Depot paint is all over the map.  An acquaintance owns a 30 unit apartment complex and contracts as a licensed contractor for home remodeling.  He uses Sherwin Williams or Pittsburgh from their contractor stores after he brought one of his unused gallons of Behr/Home Depot paint he was unhappy with into a Sherwin Williams store for a color match.  The Sherwin Williams manager weighed a gallon of their semi-gloss and the Behr/Home Depot.  The Behr was about 12-13 oz lighter.  It's because they used less pigment.

I buy my paint from paint stores like Sherwin Williams or Sevens. (PittsburghPaint)

Tried Behr ceiling white once. It was awful. Very splotchy even after two coats. Never used Behr again.

Have had good luck with Glidden premium paint from Home Depot. Glidden is a PPG brand.

And they had no clue how to use that info from that link.

But they have an updated college logo thing from Glidden. Updated in 2013, so it looks like the right green.

All you have to do is add more pigment, but I don't think Home Depot even has pigs.

Guess I over estimated them. Have never had a problem getting paint mixed there. They must have a goof working behind the counter covering people off over the holiday weekend
