I mean after a non conference loss and a conference loss with some tough opponents on the horizon, people probably just don’t care much anymore to get fired up. For the actual game for the first half when we have a chance? Sure. But on Wednesday when the season is going to be just another ho him average slug fest to win 7? Meh.

I can deal with the mediocrity. I've rooted for losing teams for decades. You hold out for the special moments. Weathering the 3 win, 6 win and 7 win seasons makes those 11 win gems even more precious.

Wisconsin is a nice state.. been to Milwaukee a few times. Madison once.. caught a garage band at some random bar one night - was pretty cool.

Ran the Lakefront Marathon years ago. Started at Grafton High School and basically ran down the lakeshore.. pretty good time.

our daughter's godparents grew up in Wisconsin and both went to UW.. love them like my own family.
